During this meeting, the Chief Minister presented a comprehensive account of his 18-month tenure to the Prime Minister. He shared information on the progress made in various fields like development works, industrial investment, social welfare, and infrastructure improvement in the state during the past one and a half years.
CM Mohan Yadav also presented Prime Minister Modi with a booklet titled "Virasat Se Vikas Ki Raah Aur Sushasan Ke 18 Mahine – Modi Ji Ka Vision Aur Yadav Ji Ka Mission" (From Heritage to Development and 18 Months of Good Governance – Modi Ji's Vision and Yadav Ji's Mission). This booklet provides a detailed glimpse of the multi-dimensional development story of Madhya Pradesh and the schemes implemented inspired by the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Provided Information on the All-Round Development of the State
CM Mohan Yadav informed PM Modi that his government has worked to give a new direction to the state's economy in 18 months. Significant progress has been made in areas such as industrial development, employment generation, poverty alleviation, empowerment of tribal communities, women empowerment, health, education, good governance, urban development, and environmental protection.
He explained how the confidence of investors has increased in the state and how the state is now emerging bly on the national industrial map. Special schemes have been implemented in tribal-dominated areas to connect them with the mainstream. Lakhs of women have benefited from programs like ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ and ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Mission’ for the economic empowerment of women.
Also Gave Details of Dubai and Spain Visits
The Chief Minister also mentioned the industrial investment trips recently made to Dubai and Spain. He informed the Prime Minister that the objective of these trips is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a global investment hub. The state's policies and possibilities were presented in detail during meetings with leading industrialists and investors from both countries.
CM Yadav said that investors have shown keen interest in investing in Madhya Pradesh, especially in the agro-processing, textiles, automobile, tourism, and green energy sectors. The Chief Minister expressed hope that these efforts will provide a new height to the state in the direction of employment and economic prosperity in the future.
Sought Guidance and Cooperation from the Prime Minister
CM Mohan Yadav requested guidance and cooperation from the Prime Minister in future plans. He said that the state government is working continuously towards progress, imbibing the Prime Minister's mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’ (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all, Effort of all). The Chief Minister also said that Madhya Pradesh is committed to playing a full part in the Prime Minister's vision of making India a world leader by 2047.
He expressed confidence that under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh will not only play a leading role in the Self-Reliant India Campaign in the coming years but will also be recognized as a role model state at the global level.
