A meeting of the Parliamentary Board has been convened in Mumbai today, which will be attended by the city president of the party, assembly in-charges, and members of the local core committee. This meeting will finalize the list of potential candidates for all wards of the Municipal Corporation.

Initiative by the State President

State President Harshvardhan Sapkal has summoned all city presidents and assembly in-charges to Mumbai. The main objective of the meeting is to select candidates who have been loyal and honest to the party. According to sources, the selection of candidates will be based on the composition of the divisions and local equations.

Harshvardhan Sapkal has asked Nagpur city president Vikas Thackeray and other responsible leaders to attend the meeting at 10:30 am. The party believes that the list of candidates can be made correct and balanced only with the advice of local leaders and active workers.

Priority to Loyal Workers

According to sources, the party may prioritize workers in the meeting who have been associated with the party for a long time and have performed their responsibilities honestly. This strategy is being adopted so that the party can get b candidates and faces who can maintain trust among the people during the elections.

At the same time, Raj Thackeray's party and Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena have also announced their alliance. In such a situation, Congress will contest the elections alone.

This election is considered challenging for the Congress. The party not only has to field b candidates but also strengthen its position in the electoral arena. That is why special attention is being paid to the selection of candidates in the Parliamentary Board meeting.
