Congress Leader Accuses Punjab CM Mann of Conspiracy, Demands Resignation

Congress leader Bharat Bhushan Ashu accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of acting out of desperation and resorting to false accusations. He demanded Chief Minister Mann's resignation and termed the Vigilance Bureau action a conspiracy.

Punjab: During a press conference in Ludhiana, Punjab Congress Working President Bharat Bhushan Ashu launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He asserted that if the Vigilance Bureau is indeed acting at the behest of the AAP, as the party alleges, then Bhagwant Mann should immediately resign from the Chief Minister's post.

‘No Moral Right to Remain CM’

Ashu stated that if the Vigilance Bureau is truly working under the CM's direction, it signifies a loss of control over the administration and institutions. Therefore, Bhagwant Mann has no moral right to remain in office and should resign.

Accusation of AAP Levelling False Charges

Bharat Bhushan Ashu accused the Aam Aadmi Party of making false accusations out of desperation. He claimed that AAP leaders are deliberately levelling fabricated and misleading allegations against him to garner sympathy and media attention before the elections.

‘AAP Has Become a Desperate and Fearful Party’

Ashu stated that the Aam Aadmi Party is now completely panicked and fearful, believing they may suffer a crushing defeat in the elections. He claimed that the AAP candidate might even finish third or fourth.

AAP Candidate's Own Concerns: Ashu's Claim

The Congress leader claimed that the AAP candidate has confided in close associates that entering electoral politics might prove too challenging. He is reportedly uncertain about his decision and feels trapped in a difficult situation.

Questioning External Appointments

Bharat Bhushan Ashu questioned Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's appointment of individuals from other states to the government. He challenged the CM's argument that talented people can be appointed from anywhere, asking whether the AAP government, in the past 15 years, has ever appointed a Punjabi from Punjab to any position in Delhi. He demanded the names be made public if such appointments exist.

‘AAP in the Final Stages of Plunder in Punjab’

Bharat Bhushan Ashu also alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party is engaged in looting Punjab in the final stages of its governance. He claimed that AAP leaders have implicated several leaders like him in false cases.

Ashu warned that justice prevails, and everyone will be held accountable in due course. He expressed confidence that the truth will soon emerge, and the law will treat everyone equally.
