Death During Treatment

Dau Lal Vaishnav, father of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, passed away on Tuesday morning at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Jodhpur. He had been ill for some time and was undergoing treatment at the hospital. According to the official information released by the hospital, he passed away at 11:52 AM.

AIIMS Jodhpur stated in a press release that Dau Lal Vaishnav's condition had been critical for the past few days. The medical team made every possible effort to save him, but they were unsuccessful.

AIIMS Jodhpur Expresses Condolences

The hospital administration expressed deep sorrow in its statement, stating that the AIIMS family prays for the peace of the departed soul. It also expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family.

The official statement issued by AIIMS read, "It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that Shri Dau Lal Vaishnav, the esteemed father of Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, passed away on July 8, 2025, at 11:52 AM at AIIMS Jodhpur. He was seriously ill and could not be saved despite treatment."

Who was Dau Lal Vaishnav?

Dau Lal Vaishnav was a native of Jivand Kala village in Pali district of Rajasthan. He later started residing in Jodhpur with his family.

He was a seasoned lawyer and Income Tax Consultant by profession. He practiced law in Jodhpur for many years and provided services related to tax matters. His work was highly respected locally.

Along with his professional life, he also played social and administrative roles. Dau Lal Vaishnav was also the Sarpanch (village head) of his ancestral village, Jivand Kala. In this role, he actively participated in development work at the local level.
