Delhi Police Special Cell Probes Suspected Terrorist Ashar Danish in Bokaro Over Potassium Nitrate Purchase; Father Alleges Framing

The Delhi Police Special Cell arrived in Bokaro with suspected terrorist Ashar Danish. The team investigated the locations where Danish allegedly purchased potassium nitrate. His father accused that his son was framed.

Bokaro: A team from the Delhi Police Special Cell arrived in Bokaro with suspected terrorist Ashar Danish and investigated his alleged activities. Based on Danish's input, the team conducted investigations at Mahato Beej Bhandar and in the Mohanpur area. During this, Danish's father alleged that his son was framed as part of a conspiracy. Police stated that the primary objective of the investigation is to confirm Danish's purchase of potassium nitrate in 2024 and its potential misuse.

Interrogation at Mahato Beej Bhandar in Bokaro

The police team first visited Mahato Beej Bhandar. The shopkeeper, Manoj Mahato, stated that Ashar Danish had purchased approximately 4-5 kg of potassium nitrate from the shop in 2024. This chemical is used as a fertilizer in agriculture but can also be misused to create explosives.

The team inspected the records and receipts available at the shop and conducted a detailed interrogation of the shopkeeper. During this, the police also ensured that the details of the purchase time and quantity were clearly recorded. Throughout this entire process, the team tried to understand Danish's actual purpose for purchasing potassium nitrate and whether it had any connection to a terrorist conspiracy.

Police Conducted Survey and Interrogation in Mohanpur

After Mahato Beej Bhandar, the police team arrived in Mohanpur, under the Pindrajora police station area. Investigations were conducted here based on Danish's information, and local residents were interrogated. Police Station In-charge Raju Kumar Munda stated that the team surveyed the area and attempted to identify suspicious activities.

Furthermore, the police also studied Danish's past transactions and his contacts in the area. The team tried to ascertain in Mohanpur and its surrounding areas if there was any plan for the misuse of potassium nitrate. This phase of the investigation is considered highly sensitive, as it is being linked to local security and terrorist activities.

Father Alleges Conspiracy

Ashar Danish's father, Mazhar Jani, declared his son innocent. Mazhar Jani, a lawyer by profession, stated that his son was deliberately framed and that this is part of a larger conspiracy. He also mentioned that their family's past life was normal, with him previously singing Qawwali and his wife being a teacher at a government school.

Danish's father believes that his son's arrest and the investigation might be entirely politically motivated or based on a conspiracy. This statement has increased the complexity of the case between the family and security agencies.

Police Initiates Comprehensive Investigation into Potassium Nitrate Case

The Delhi Police Special Cell has given special attention to the purchase of potassium nitrate in this investigation. The team's objective is to understand for what purpose Ashar Danish bought this chemical and whether it was intended for use in explosive manufacturing or terrorist activities.

Police sources stated that the visit to Bokaro made it clear that investigators want to confirm Danish's past behavior, transactions, and potential contacts. This will also help ascertain if there is any connection to a larger terrorist conspiracy. During the investigation, the team also strengthened security measures in the area.
