Mumbai: Maharashtra politics is once again witnessing a stir. Reports of friction have emerged among the constituent parties of the ruling Mahayuti alliance in the state. Amidst this, Shiv Sena chief and state Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde traveled to Delhi to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah. According to sources, Shinde told Amit Shah that some leaders of the Mahayuti are deteriorating the political atmosphere, which could negatively impact the upcoming local body elections.

What Did Eknath Shinde Say?

According to sources, Eknath Shinde informed Amit Shah that some Mahayuti leaders are attempting to spoil the favorable political atmosphere for the alliance ahead of the local body elections. He stated that such activities could benefit the opposition and affect the alliance's victory. Shinde further added that unnecessary and misleading news is circulating in the media, creating confusion among the public as well as among party workers and office bearers.

Why Did the Dispute Emerge?

According to information, this meeting took place at a time when most Shiv Sena ministers did not attend the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday. Only Eknath Shinde was present at the meeting. Regarding this, Shinde had stated in a media interaction that Mahayuti allies would refrain from inducting each other's leaders into their parties.
