But like every star, her career also started with struggles and experiences. Recently, during a podcast interview, Fatima shared an incident from her early days that shocked people.
Punished at the age of 4, this incident happened on the sets of Chachi 420
Fatima Sana Shaikh entered Bollywood as a child artist at the age of just four with the film 'Chachi 420'. In the film, she played the role of Kamal Haasan's daughter 'Bharti'. She said that an incident happened to her on the sets of that film that she has not been able to forget to this day. Actually, one day during the shooting, she started playing after seeing Kamal Haasan's makeup box kept on the set.
There were many colors and tools in that makeup kit, which increased the curiosity of little Fatima. Without thinking, she mixed all the colors together and ruined the entire makeup box.
Makeup kit ruined, then wrong behavior with Fatima
When the makeup artist opened the kit to do makeup again, all the items were found messed up. At that time, a tense atmosphere was created on the set. Fatima said that at that time, an assistant director of the film slapped her, which made her nervous. Not only this, she was also scolded and beaten by her parents after going home.
After this whole incident, there was definitely tension on the set, but Kamal Haasan handled the matter with full understanding. He explained to everyone that Fatima is just a child and she did not do this intentionally. He requested the people on the set and Fatima's parents to forgive her because she had done so out of innocence. Fatima said that Kamal Haasan defended her like an elder brother and guardian, and this incident is still fresh in her memory.
Fatima's Identity Today
Today, Fatima Sana Shaikh has proved her mettle in films like 'Dangal', 'Ludo', 'Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari', and now 'Metro In Dino'. But this childhood experience has given her the sensitivity and understanding that is necessary for an artist. However, it is also true that with time, professionalism and sensitivity towards children have increased in the industry.
