This action was carried out in San Joaquin County, California, where joint teams of the FBI and local agencies arrested 8 Indian-origin Khalistan supporters.
The arrested individuals include Dilpreet Singh, Arshpreet Singh, Amritpal Singh, Vishal, Pavitra Singh alias Pavitra Batala, Gurtaj Singh, Manpreet Randhawa, and Sarabjit Singh. All these accused had been active in America for a long time and were wanted in several serious cases in India.
Joint Operation by FBI and SWAT Team
SWAT teams from Stockton, Manteca, and Stanislaus County participated in this operation along with the FBI's special unit. This action was taken with the intention of weakening the Khalistani network. Cases such as kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment, illegal weapons, conspiracy to spread terror, and intimidation of witnesses were already registered against these accused hiding on American soil.

A total of 8 criminal cases are registered against Pavitra in the Amritsar and Batala police districts. Pavitra Singh is associated with the Babbar Khalsa International and was carrying out anti-India activities in collaboration with Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh Rode.
