The former acting principal of PMCH in Patna has appealed to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for justice following his suspension. He claimed that he had been treated unfairly and said he would consider opting for voluntary retirement (VRS) if he did not receive justice.

The former acting principal said he had performed his duties honestly and in accordance with the rules during his tenure. He alleged that he was suspended without being given an adequate opportunity to present his case. He appealed to the Chief Minister to order a fair inquiry into the matter and personally review the entire case.

He said that a fair investigation would bring the truth to light. According to him, he never knowingly violated any rules and the administrative decisions taken during his tenure were based on the prevailing circumstances. He expressed confidence that a proper inquiry would ensure justice.

Political reactions to the matter have also begun to emerge. As debates over Bihar's healthcare system and administrative accountability continue, the PMCH case has also become a subject of discussion. Following the former acting principal's request for direct intervention by the Chief Minister, attention is now focused on the government's next course of action.

The former acting principal further stated that if he did not receive justice and his appeal was not heard, he would be compelled to opt for voluntary retirement (VRS). He said that after serving in government service for many years, the action taken against him had caused him deep mental distress.

No detailed official response has yet been issued by the concerned department. At the administrative level, the suspension order and the related facts are being reviewed. If considered necessary, the process for a departmental inquiry may also move forward.

Meanwhile, officials of the Health Department are monitoring the developments. Political and administrative circles are also discussing what decision the government may take next and whether the former acting principal's appeal will be reconsidered.

The matter is currently under investigation and administrative process. The government's and the Health Department's next steps in the coming days are expected to determine the decision on the former acting principal's appeal and the future course of the case.
