Gauahar Khan gave birth to her first son, Zehaan, in 2023. During pregnancy, her weight had increased considerably, but she did not give up. In just a few weeks, Gauahar transformed herself, demonstrating that any goal can be achieved with willpower and discipline. Gauahar recently spoke openly about her weight loss journey in actress Debina Bonnerjee's podcast and shared the simple but effective methods she used to lose weight.

The Secret of Gauahar Khan's 'Magic Diet'

Gauahar Khan revealed that she did not follow any expensive gym or diet plan. The entire focus of her weight loss was on simple, healthy, and homemade food.

She said:

'I had completely given up non-veg. Mutton was my favorite, but I didn't even touch it. I only ate green vegetables, soups, and salads.'

According to Gauahar, she maintained complete control over her diet. She detoxified her body by staying away from fried and heavy foods and lost weight without any guidance from an expensive nutritionist.

No Crash Diet, Just Discipline

Gauahar also shared that she did not adopt any crash diet but only maintained a balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fats as per her needs. She emphasized smart eating instead of starving herself. She believes that it is not necessary to starve to lose weight, but it is important to eat the right food at the right time.

Gauahar Khan breastfed her son for 6 months and also gave him formula milk. During this time, she also took care of herself and kept her body fit while getting adequate nutrition. She said that after becoming a mother, she realized that a healthy mother is the first need of a healthy child. Gauahar also emphasized in her interview that she had only one thing in her mind — "I have to get back on screen." This motivation became her greatest strength.
