Traders and local residents had recently raised several complaints regarding a divider cut in the busy Danapani Restaurant area of Gorakhpur. Following these complaints, the administration is now set to conduct a thorough investigation of the site.
A joint team of the administration and police has been instructed to visit the site and conduct a detailed study of the divider cut's condition, traffic movement, road safety, and surrounding arrangements. Further action will be determined based on the team's report.
In the Udyog Bandhu meeting, traders had prominently highlighted the problems associated with this divider cut, alongside issues concerning road safety, lighting, electricity bills, and subsidies. It was stated that due to the divider cut not being properly utilized, vehicles face considerable inconvenience, leading to an increased risk of traffic jams and accidents.
This initiative by the administration is raising hopes among local residents that a permanent solution to this problem will soon be found, leading to improvements in both road safety and traffic management.
