Bihar: Political activity in Bihar is once again intensifying. The Grand Alliance in the state has prepared a comprehensive plan to reach out to the public. The purpose of this Yatra is to make the public aware of the state government's policies, decisions, and working style, and to highlight alleged shortcomings. A noteworthy aspect of the Yatra is the participation of former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi and Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav.

What Will Be the Structure of the Yatra?

Tejashwi Yadav informed that the format of the Yatra has not yet been finalized. Whether it will be a foot march or conducted via vehicles is under consideration. However, it is clear that the Yatra will include rallies and public meetings at the divisional level in the state. The detailed program of the Yatra will be released after Raksha Bandhan.

Rahul Gandhi's Consent

After the meeting, Tejashwi Yadav clarified that Rahul Gandhi has been consulted on this matter and has agreed to participate in the Yatra. Congress's Bihar in-charge Krishna Allabaru and state president Rajesh Ram also participated in and supported the meeting. However, Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP) leader Mukesh Sahni could not attend the meeting due to personal reasons.

Accusations of Promoting Corruption and Crime Against the Government

Tejashwi Yadav bly attacked the state's double-engine government. He alleged that the government is in an unconscious state and has no control over crime and corruption. He claimed that a scam of approximately 80 thousand crore rupees has taken place from the state treasury.

Questions Raised on CAG Report

Tejashwi Yadav, citing the recently released report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), said that the state government has not accounted for approximately 80 thousand crore rupees in expenditure in various financial years. This points towards a major scam. He alleged that this is a loot of public money and cannot be ignored.

Allegations of Curtailing Democratic Rights

One of the objectives of this Grand Alliance Yatra is also to raise voice against alleged attacks on democratic values in the state. Tejashwi said that in the name of special intensive voter revision, names are being removed from the voter lists, which is a direct violation of the public's rights.

Concerns Over Rising Crime Rates

Tejashwi Yadav also expressed concern over the लगातार increase in criminal incidents in the state. He said that the government has failed to maintain law and order. The common citizen is feeling unsafe, and the responsibility for this lies not only with administrative negligence but also with political patronage.
