Birth Episode Revived in Katha and Tableaux
At the Vaibhav Lakshmi Temple located in Beta-2, narrator Narendra Nandan Maharaj presented the wonderful episode of Lord Krishna's birth in prison to the devotees. He told that as soon as he was born, the chains of Devaki-Vasudev broke automatically and the guards fell into a deep sleep.
It was narrated in the story that Vasudev ji placed the newborn Krishna in a basket and safely proceeded towards Gokul. On the way, he had to face difficulties like intense darkness, rain and floods, but as soon as the feet of the Lord touched the water of Yamuna, the surge of water subsided and the path became easy. Tableaux of this divine journey were also decorated in the temple premises, seeing which the devotees became extremely emotional.
