Gurpatwant Singh Pannun threatens blackout on Diwali. He targeted festival lights and political figures in the video. Pro-Khalistan slogans will be raised in Amritsar and a plan is in place to spread fear across the country.
Punjab: Pro-Khalistan terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has issued a serious threat for this Diwali. Pannun released a video through social media, in which he explicitly stated that his aim is not only to disrupt the festival lights but also to target political figures. He claimed to have complete preparations to execute this plan and, under this, he will attempt to spread darkness in important cities of the country.
Nature of Threats
In the video, Pannun stated that his targets include Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Raja Warring, and MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla. He claimed that the Gandhi family, who sheltered those accused in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, are now part of his plan. Pannun clarified that his plan is not just political opposition but to spread terror.
Plan to spread darkness on Diwali
Pannun stated that his goal is to turn the light from 26 lakh diyas in Ayodhya and Haridwar into darkness. He said that affecting public joy and festival celebrations during Diwali would be his priority.
Preparations in Amritsar and public places
Pannun claimed that he has had pro-Khalistan slogans written in Amritsar. Additionally, slogans against PM Modi have been displayed on parts of the railway station. The objective is also to send a message against government and political institutions.
Role of Pro-Khalistan Organization
Pannun is the chief of the banned organization Sikhs For Justice. It is noteworthy that this organization is considered instrumental in promoting pro-Khalistan activities and terrorism. Pannun threatened in the video that his influence would be felt in North India.
