Himachal Pradesh to Get New Congress State President Soon: CM Sukhu Indicates

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has returned to Shimla after his Delhi visit. CM Sukhu's Indication Regarding the New Congress State President

Chief Minister Sukhu said, "Congress will soon get a new state president in the state. This matter has been discussed in Delhi. I have also written a letter to the Congress High Command advocating for a person belonging to the Scheduled Caste or a minister from the cabinet to be made the state president." Appointment Letters Distributed to Art Teachers

On the same day, Chief Minister Sukhu also distributed appointment letters to 312 new art teachers at Peterhoff Guest House in Shimla. He said that these newly appointed teachers will be given benefits under the Old Pension Scheme. This initiative of the government in the field of education is a welcome news for both teachers and students.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister also announced the launch of a student-centric news platform and the release of a baseline report evaluating the performance of schools, which is an effort to improve the education system in the state.

Cabinet Expansion Possible Soon

Sukhu also indicated that the cabinet in Himachal Pradesh will be expanded soon. He informed that consideration is being given to not having retirements in the education, technical education, and medical education departments in the middle of the academic session so that the education system is not disrupted. The proposal is that retirement should only occur after the academic session ends. In addition, the option of giving promotions twice a year is also being discussed.

Chief Minister Sukhu retorted to the allegations made by the BJP regarding the launch of lotteries in Himachal Pradesh. He said that lotteries are permitted in many BJP-ruled states, and the lottery started by his government will be completely online, and tickets will not be available in shops.
