Teenager Swept Away in Mandi, Four-Lane Blocked
A 14-year-old boy, Tej Singh, was swept away in the b current of the Thai stream in Panarsa, Drang area of Mandi district. The teenager was of Nepalese origin and lived there with his family. In addition, the Kiratpur-Manali four-lane highway remained closed for 37 hours due to heavy landslides, which was restored on Tuesday afternoon. 375 Roads Still Closed, Mandi Most Affected
More than 375 roads are still closed to traffic across the state. These include the Mataur-Shimla National Highway, NH-707 in Sirmaur, NH-70 in Mandi, and NH-505 in Lahaul Spiti. 254 roads are closed in Mandi district alone, while 78 are closed in Kullu, 13 in Shimla, 11 in Kangra, 10 in Sirmaur, five in Solan, three in Una, and one each in Chamba and Lahaul Spiti.
