HPBOSE Releases Admit Cards for TET June 2025: Exam Details and Guidelines

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the admit cards for the JBT and TGT (Sanskrit) subjects for the TET June 2025 session. The link to download the admit cards has been activated on the board's official website. Candidates who applied for these two exams can now obtain their admit cards by visiting the website.

Exam Dates and Times

The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by HPBOSE will be held on July 12, 2025, in two shifts. The JBT exam will be held in the first shift, and the TGT (Sanskrit) exam will be held in the second shift.

  • JBT Exam Time: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
  • TGT Sanskrit Exam Time: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

The duration of each exam is set at two and a half hours.

How to Download the Admit Card

Candidates must follow the easy steps below to download their admit cards:

  • First, visit the official website www.hpbose.org
  • Click on the 'TET June 2025' section on the homepage
  • Click on the admit card link provided there
  • Enter the required details such as application number and date of birth
  • Click on the submit button
  • Your admit card will open on the screen; download it and take a printout

Exam Center Arrangements

A total of 5731 candidates are registered for the JBT TET exam this time, while 1046 candidates are participating in the TGT (Sanskrit) exam. A total of 94 examination centers have been set up in various districts of Himachal Pradesh for these two exams:

  • Number of exam centers for JBT: 51
  • Number of exam centers for TGT Sanskrit: 43

The board has made strict arrangements at all centers to ensure that the examination process is conducted smoothly.

Information to Check on the Admit Card

Candidates are advised to carefully check the information printed on their admit cards. This includes information such as name, roll number, name and address of the exam center, date and time of the exam, photo, and signature. If any error is found in this information, candidates should immediately contact the board.

Things to Keep in Mind on the Day of the Exam

According to the guidelines issued by the board, candidates must reach the examination center at least half an hour before the exam time. Carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, or any kind of electronic gadget is prohibited at the center.

Candidates will only be allowed to carry their admit card, a valid identity card, a blue or black ballpoint pen, and a transparent water bottle. Any kind of cheating or use of unfair means may lead to expulsion from the examination.

Answers to be Given on OMR Sheets

OMR sheets will be used for answering the TET exam. Candidates are instructed to fill in the answers very carefully because the answer will not be considered valid if filled incorrectly.

Four options will be given for each question, and one correct answer must be selected and circled on the OMR sheet.

Anticipation Among Candidates Regarding Results

Even before the exam, there is a lot of enthusiasm and preparation among the candidates across the state. This eligibility test, related to teacher recruitment, is considered the first step towards a government job in Himachal Pradesh, so a large number of young people are engaged in its preparation.

The board is likely to release the results a few weeks after the exam. The results will be made available on the board's website.

  • Voter ID
  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • PAN Card

It will be mandatory to carry any one of these identity cards along with the admit card.

What is the Objective of the HPTET Exam?

The HPTET is conducted to certify the eligibility required for recruiting teachers in government schools in Himachal Pradesh. After passing this exam, candidates are considered eligible for government teacher recruitments at the TGT and JBT levels.

This year, the board is conducting the TET exam in a total of 8 subjects, with the JBT and TGT (Sanskrit) exams being held first.
