The intelligent traffic management system in Pune and the adaptive traffic control system in Bengaluru automatically regulate signals based on traffic flow. The use of drones and GPS in road projects has increased. In Bihar, with the help of AI technology, over 12,000 culverts and 743 bridges were inspected, enabling the identification and repair of damaged structures.

In rural areas, 70% of roads are still inspected using traditional methods. A report by KPMG indicates that AI technology can reduce road maintenance costs by up to 30% and make roads more durable. If the use of AI also increases in rural areas, there will be significant improvements in road quality and safety.

In India, over 1.5 lakh people lose their lives in road accidents every year. According to experts, AI intelligent traffic systems can reduce emergency response time by up to 60% and increase traffic efficiency by 30%. Furthermore, AI assists in monitoring carbon emissions, creating corridors for electric vehicles, and in sustainable road design.
