Priyanka Gandhi: Israel has bly reacted to the statement made by Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi in support of Palestine. Israeli Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, questioned Priyanka Gandhi's reliance on Hamas figures and completely refuted the allegations of genocide against Israel. Priyanka Gandhi's Gaza Support Statement
Priyanka Gandhi recently made a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) in which she accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. She stated that Israel has killed more than 60,000 people, including 18,430 children. According to her, many people are starving to death in Gaza, and remaining silent on this is a major crime.
Priyanka also criticized the Indian government, saying that its silence on the issue is shameful. She expressed sensitivity regarding the devastation in Gaza and appealed to the world to pay attention to it.
Israeli Ambassador's Response
Following Priyanka's statement, Israeli Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, gave a b response. He questioned Priyanka Gandhi's reliance on Hamas figures, stating that Israel has killed more than 25,000 Hamas terrorists, due to which the common people have suffered heavy losses.
The ambassador said that the Hamas terrorist organization hides among the common people and carries out rocket attacks, which affect the general public. He also stated that Israel had sent 2 million tons of food to Gaza, which Hamas confiscated, and this is the reason why famine has spread there.
Citing the increase in Gaza's population, the ambassador said that there has been a 450 percent increase in its population in the last 50 years, and therefore the claim of genocide there is not correct. He said that Hamas' figures should not be heeded because they distort reality.
