In Jalore, miscreants in a pickup truck vandalized Jitendra Mali's Scorpio outside a hotel and attacked him. Police have registered a case and initiated a search for the accused, as the incident is linked to mutual enmity and a sand mining dispute.
Jalore: Between 3:30 and 4 PM on Thursday afternoon, chaos erupted in the Third Phase area of Jalore city, Rajasthan. Miscreants in a pickup truck attacked Jitendra Mali, who was dining at a hotel. The assailants first rammed Jitendra's Scorpio vehicle and then vandalized it with hockey sticks and iron rods.
Jitendra Mali was present at the hotel with his friends at the time. During the attack, he managed to escape to safety. The miscreants not only damaged Jitendra's vehicle but also caused harm to another car and a scooter parked nearby.
Chaos Erupted at the Scene
Immediately after the attack, chaos ensued in the area. Kotwali Police and DSP Jalore promptly arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control. The crowd was dispersed and secured, and people in the vicinity were warned to stay away from the incident site.
The DSP stated that no one was injured in this incident and there was no firing. It was limited solely to vehicle vandalism. Despite this, considering security, the police have intensified security arrangements in the area.
Case of Old Enmity and Sand Mining Dispute
Initial investigation revealed that this attack is a result of long-standing enmity and a sand mining dispute between the two parties. According to the police, a skirmish also occurred between the two parties on the night of October 14.
Jitendra Mali filed a named report in this matter, and the police have initiated a search for the accused. The DSP stated that the case is serious, but currently, no one has been injured.
Police Investigation Efforts
Police have immediately launched an investigation into the matter. CCTV footage, witness statements, and accounts from people in the vicinity are being collected. Officials have appealed to the public to maintain peace and not pay attention to rumors.
The local administration has deployed additional police forces in the area, and security has been heightened around the hotel and on the main road. Police state that the accused will be arrested soon.
