The last date to apply for Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025 has been extended to October 30. The application fee can be submitted until October 31. The facility for form correction will be available from November 1 to 3.

Jharkhand JET 2025: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has extended the last date to apply for the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025. Previously, it was set for October 7, 2025, which has now been extended to October 30, 2025.

Under this change, applicants can submit the application fee by October 31, 2025, after filling out the application form. Furthermore, if any applicant has made an error in the form, they will have the opportunity to correct it from November 1 to 3, 2025, until 5 PM. This facility is beneficial for all candidates who were unable to apply for any reason until now.

Who Can Apply

The eligibility criteria for candidates wishing to apply for Jharkhand JET 2025 are as follows:

  • Candidates must have completed a Post Graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of 55 percent marks.
  • For candidates belonging to BC1, BC2, SC, ST, PWD categories, the minimum marks required are 50 percent.
  • Students who are studying in their final year of Post Graduation and have appeared for their papers are also eligible to apply.
  • There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor eligibility or Ph.D. admission.

Thus, this examination is open to all candidates who are qualified in higher education and wish to pursue professional opportunities through JPSC.

Application Fees

The application fees for Jharkhand JET 2025 are determined category-wise. The details of the application fee are as follows:

  • Unreserved category: 575 Rupees
  • BC1, BC2, and EWS categories: 300 Rupees
  • SC, ST, PWD, and Third Gender: 150 Rupees

All fees can only be submitted online. The application process will be considered complete only after the fee submission.

  • Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) by filling in the required details.
  • After registration, fill in other necessary details and complete the application form.

  • It is important to complete this process carefully, as application confirmation and fee submission are mandatory.

Exam Pattern and Structure

In the Jharkhand JET 2025 examination, candidates will have to attempt two papers. The details for each paper are as follows:

Paper 1: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) - 50 Questions

Paper 2: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) - 100 Questions

For each correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 2 marks.

Total Time: 180 minutes, i.e., 3 hours

Both Papers Include: Questions based on General Knowledge, Subject Specific knowledge, and Teaching Aptitude.

This examination is primarily designed to assess candidates' academic aptitude and reasoning ability.
