For which posts was the selection made?

Through this examination, the commission has selected a total of 342 candidates. Among these, the highest number of 207 candidates have been selected for the post of Deputy Collector. Apart from this, 35 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 56 State Tax Officers, 2 Jail Superintendents, 10 Jharkhand Education Service, 1 District Commandant, 8 Assistant Registrars, 14 Labor Superintendents, 6 Probation Officers and 3 Product Inspectors will be appointed. This entire selection process has been done with the aim of strengthening the administrative structure of Jharkhand.

Examination Process and Selection Criteria

The JPSC Civil Services Examination is conducted in three stages – Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. The preliminary examination is a screening test, on the basis of which candidates are selected for the main examination. Candidates selected in the main examination are called for interview.
