BRS Leader K. Kavitha Resigns from Party Day After Suspension. Accuses Brother KTR and Cousins of Conspiring to Break Family and Seize Power. Appeals to KCR to Stop Political Games.
Telangana Politics: Telangana's political landscape was shaken when Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K. Kavitha not only reacted sharply to her suspension from the party but also resigned from the party's primary membership the very next day. Kavitha openly alleged that a conspiracy is underway within the party to break the family and seize power. She stated that this is happening in a planned manner, and her target is not just the opposition but some individuals within her own family.
Allegations of Political Conspiracy within Family and Party
K. Kavitha broke her silence before the media and alleged that her suspension is actually part of a conspiracy to take over the BRS party. She said that there are some people in the party who are creating divisions within the family for their personal political ambitions and trying to isolate her. Kavitha appealed to her father and party chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) to understand this political game and pay attention to the machinations happening within the party.
'Relationships are Above Politics'
In her statement, Kavitha said, "KCR garu and KTR garu are my family. We have a blood relationship. This relationship should not be broken due to reasons like party suspension or removal from a post." She added that party and family relationships should not be spoiled because of politics. However, some people are trying to break the family for their political gain.
Serious Allegations Against Brother KTR
Kavitha leveled the most significant accusation against her brother, K. T. Rama Rao (KTR). She stated that KTR did not support her when false allegations were being made against her and a smear campaign was being run before her suspension.
Kavitha said,
"I met brother KTR. I told him about the conspiracies and false campaigns being run against me. I requested him, not just as a sister, but also as a party MLC. But he did not care at all. He did not even call me."
Allegations Against Cousins Harish Rao and Santosh Rao
In her statement, Kavitha also made serious allegations against her cousins, Harish Rao and Santosh Rao. She said that these two are spoiling the political atmosphere within the party and playing a significant role in breaking the family.
Kavitha claims that the CBI investigation against KCR was also initiated due to their activities. She advised her brother KTR that trusting Harish and Santosh could prove detrimental to both the family and the party.
Decision to Resign
The very next day after her suspension, Kavitha resigned from the primary membership of BRS. She said that when the family itself does not stand by one, there is no point in remaining in the party.
In her statement, Kavitha said,
"I have always worked for the party and the people of the state. But the conspiracies happening today make it clear that some people want to seize power by breaking the family. I cannot remain in the party in such an environment."
Appeal to KCR
Kavitha appealed to her father and party chief KCR to take this entire development seriously and take steps to save the party. She said that KCR needs to understand what kind of game is being played against his own family. She does not want any misunderstanding with her father. Her family is her strength, and she wants the conspiracies originating from within the party to end.
