Varanasi: Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith has planned to organize special programs in four phases to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the national song 'Vande Mataram'. This celebration is an occasion of pride for both students and teachers.
According to Registrar Sunita Pandey, the first phase of the program will be held from November 7 to 14, 2025, the second phase from January 19 to 26, 2026, the third phase from August 7 to 15, 2026, and the concluding phase from November 1 to 7, 2026.
The program includes the recitation of Vande Mataram, along with seminars, discussions, essay competitions, poster competitions, and quiz competitions on its contribution to the freedom struggle. Its aim is to foster a sense of patriotism and national unity among students.
Through this event organized by Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, students and the community will realize the importance of their cultural heritage and history.
