Kashish Kapoor, a contestant on Bigg Boss 18, faces serious fraud allegations. A designer claims Kashish took an ₹85,000 couture gown from her and returned it wet and dirty.
Entertainment: Kashish Kapoor, who gained popularity from the reality show Bigg Boss 18, is facing a serious allegation. Renowned designer Smita Srinivas claims that the actress and social media influencer caused a loss of ₹85,000 to her brand. Smita states that Kashish took a couture gown from her, which she not only damaged but also failed to compensate adequately for after returning it. This controversy is now making headlines on social media, as the designer has publicly shared the entire matter along with alleged evidence.
₹85,000 Couture Gown Ruined
According to designer Smita Srinivas, Kashish Kapoor took a gown designed by her for an event, which was worth approximately ₹85,000. When the gown was returned, it was wet, dirty, and completely unusable. Smita claims that, as a result, it was impossible to resell the gown, leading to a significant financial loss for her.
The incensed designer shared chats and screenshots on Instagram, revealing that she had demanded Kashish either buy back the gown or provide full compensation. According to reports, Kashish offered to pay only ₹40,000 to cover the damage, which was significantly less than the original price. After weeks of drawn-out negotiations, when the designer pressed the issue, Kashish Kapoor allegedly blocked her.
Agency Gave Shocking Response
Smita says that when she contacted Kashish's agency, she received extremely strange advice. The agency allegedly suggested that the loss could be covered through social media promotion. In other words, publicity was offered as compensation instead of money. The designer described this as ridiculous and unprofessional. She says that exposure or promotion does not pay the bills, and such behavior causes significant losses to small designers in the fashion industry.
