Kharge Accuses Modi of Caste Identity Manipulation and False Promises at OBC Conference

During an OBC conference in Delhi, Mallikarjun Kharge accused PM Modi of changing his caste identity, making false promises, and misleading the OBC community. He appealed for political unity.

Kharge Speech: At the Congress's "OBC Leadership Participation Justice Conference" held at Delhi's Talkatora Stadium, party president Mallikarjun Kharge bly targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party. He stated that even after 75 years of independence, the OBC community has not received equal rights and now needs to struggle for them.

"The OBC voice will only be heard when they get elected themselves"

In his address, Kharge said that if backward classes want respect and rights, they must strengthen themselves politically. He said that the OBC voice will only be heard when they reach Parliament and state assemblies in proportion to their population. Rights are not obtained by asking; struggle is necessary for this.

Allegations of Narendra Modi changing his caste identity

Kharge made serious allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that he previously considered himself to be of an upper caste, but when he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he included his caste in the OBC category. After this, he tried to gain sympathy among the OBC community by presenting himself as a backward class member. Kharge alleged that Modi is now working to oppress the OBCs.

"Narendra Modi is the chief of liars"

The Congress president labeled the Prime Minister as the "chief of liars" and said that Modi had promised two crore jobs every year, but the reality is something else. He said that Modi made several promises such as bringing back black money from abroad, giving ₹15 lakh to every citizen, providing fair MSP to farmers, and increasing the income of OBCs, which have not been fulfilled to date.

"Modi also lies in Parliament"

Kharge said that Narendra Modi also lies in Parliament and is constantly misleading the country. He appealed to people to make others understand that a Prime Minister who lies cannot do good for the country.

Kharge said in his speech that any society needs three things to move forward. The first is thought, i.e., education, the second is manpower, i.e., representation, and the third is economic strength. If even one of these three is missing, that society will lag behind.

Allegations of social division against RSS and BJP

He accused the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the BJP of spreading poison in society and working to make people fight among themselves. Kharge said that the Congress party is fighting against these forces, and for this, the OBC class has to unite and support the Congress.

Rahul Gandhi is the true well-wisher of OBCs

Kharge praised Rahul Gandhi, saying that he is the only leader who has openly demanded a caste census of OBCs. He said that Rahul Gandhi is constantly fighting for the rights of the deprived, backward, and Dalits. Therefore, the OBC community should support Rahul Gandhi.

The Congress president claimed that the Modi government has not made any concrete policy or plan for SC, ST, OBC, and women so far. He said that Modi only gives speeches and promotes himself as "non-biological," claiming that God has sent him.
