The investigation into the 14.87 kg gold robbery case from Madhya Pradesh has now extended to Bihar, with a special team from the Madhya Pradesh Police arriving in Gaya as part of the probe. The team inspected records at several jewellery shops in the Gurua area to determine whether the looted gold was bought, sold, or moved through Bihar.

According to the information available, the investigation team examined purchase and sale registers, invoices, stock records, and other documents at multiple jewellery stores in the Gurua market. Police also questioned some traders to ascertain whether any suspicious individual had recently attempted to sell or pledge a large quantity of gold.

During the investigation, one युवक was taken into custody for questioning. Police officials said he is being interrogated and has not been declared an accused. His role, if any, will be established only on the basis of the investigation and available evidence.

The investigation into the robbery, which took place in Jabalpur, is reported to have expanded across multiple states. Investigating agencies are tracing the network using technical evidence, mobile call records, CCTV footage, and financial transaction details. As part of the probe, some areas of Bihar have also been brought within the scope of the investigation.

The local police are assisting the Madhya Pradesh Police in the investigation. Police authorities from both states are sharing information to establish all the facts related to the case. If the investigation establishes the involvement of any individual, action will be taken in accordance with the law.

Investigation officials said that in cases involving organised crime, stolen or looted jewellery is often sold or melted in different states. For this reason, investigating agencies are conducting detailed scrutiny of records related to the jewellery trade in various cities and markets.

Legal experts said that being taken into custody for questioning does not constitute proof of guilt. Any final conclusion will depend on the investigation, recovered evidence, and the judicial process.

The investigation into the 14.87 kg gold robbery case in Jabalpur is continuing. Further action will be based on the examination of records collected in Gurua and the questioning of the individual in custody. The case will be concluded only after the investigating agencies submit their final report.
