Mahesh Babu Faces Legal Dispute Over Real Estate Association

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is making headlines this time not for his films, but for a legal dispute. Specifically, questions have been raised about his association with a real estate company in Hyderabad, putting him in the midst of controversy.

Entertainment: South film industry superstar Mahesh Babu is once again in the news, but this time the reason is not a new blockbuster film, but a major legal dispute. In fact, a female doctor from Hyderabad has filed a complaint with the Ranga Reddy District Consumer Commission, in which Mahesh Babu's name has also been dragged in.

This case is related to a real estate company, Sai Surya Developers, of which Mahesh Babu has been the brand ambassador. It is alleged that the company used Mahesh Babu's face and his endorsements to attract the general public to invest in a project that didn't even exist on the ground.

Loss of 34.8 Lakhs, Investor Holds Mahesh Babu Responsible Too

The complainant, a female doctor, claimed that she invested 34.8 lakh rupees in a project of Sai Surya Developers, trusting Mahesh Babu's endorsement. Later it was found that the layout shown by the company did not actually exist. The complaint stated that Mahesh Babu's face was used to make the brand appear credible, due to which she too was defrauded.

The doctor alleges that the promotion by a big star like Mahesh Babu created trust among the people and this trust motivated many investors to put money in the project.

ED is also looking into this scam

This is not the first time questions have been raised about Sai Surya Developers. In April 2025, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had also inquired against the company in a money laundering case. At that time, Mahesh Babu was also questioned because the company had allegedly paid him approximately 5.9 crore rupees, some of which was paid in cash. Although Mahesh Babu was not named as an accused, his involvement is being investigated.

ED officials also stated that many of the projects that Mahesh Babu had promoted had legal hurdles and major discrepancies were found in the land documents.

Order to appear in hearing

The Ranga Reddy District Consumer Commission has issued notices to Mahesh Babu, Sai Surya Developers, and its owner, Kancharla Satish Chandra Gupta in this case. The commission has asked them to be present at the next hearing, which is scheduled for the seventh of next month. Currently, no official reaction has come from Mahesh Babu or his team on this whole controversy. The actor's fans are worried that this matter might damage his image.

This case is once again fueling the debate of whether celebrities should promote any product or company just for money. The name and face of a superstar like Mahesh Babu is a symbol of trust for millions of people, but when the same brand or project fails, the general public has to suffer the loss.
