Allegations of Money Distribution

Former MLA Vaibhav Naik clarified that this money was distributed among the voters of Malvan by Nilesh Rane. According to him, this strategy of distributing money and exerting influence in elections by political parties is not new. Naik stated, “Money for power and power for money—this is part of Shinde–Shiv Sena's electoral policy. The opposition is not untouched by this either; the influence of money can be seen on both sides in the electoral atmosphere.”

He appealed to the public to pay attention to such alleged buying-and-selling and corruption and to vote wisely. Naik emphasized that upholding the dignity of democracy is every citizen's duty and that the electoral process should not be weakened under the influence of money.

Political Reaction and Electoral Atmosphere

Currently, Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena, and Nilesh Rane have not issued any official response to this viral video and the allegations. Political analysts state that such allegations and videos are brought forward during elections with the intention of influencing voters, keeping both the opposition and the ruling party active in their electoral strategies.

Despite the Election Commission's surveillance, such allegations sometimes create tension in the electoral process. Experts believe that media reporting and viral content on social media can influence voters' minds, therefore, verifying this information and maintaining impartiality is essential.
