Narsinghpur: A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday morning in the Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh, where 45-year-old Guddu Jat, fondly called Ambani by locals, was swept away in the b current of the Singri River. It is reported that the river's water level was high, and the river was in spate due to rain. The administration had already warned people to stay away from rivers and drains.

Local residents had tried to stop Guddu Jat from crossing the river, but he ignored the warning. He lost his balance while crossing the bridge and was carried away by the current. After this incident, there was an outcry at the scene, but he could not be immediately rescued due to the b current.

Around 7:30 AM at the time of the incident, Guddu Jat was attempting to cross the river via a small bridge located on Ganesh Mandir Road. The river's current was so b that locals repeatedly tried to stop him.

However, due to the swift flow of water and losing his balance on the bridge, he was submerged in the waves. Within moments, he disappeared from the villagers' sight. This accident highlights how risky and deadly it can be to cross rivers during rains and floods.
