Manish Kashyap's inclusion under the leadership of Prashant Kishor is being seen as the beginning of a new change. Manish Kashyap had joined the BJP on April 25, 2024, but he announced his departure from the party through a Facebook Live on June 7, 2025, in just one and a half years. Manish said that while in the BJP, he closely observed the harassment of the workers and the party's silent attitude. He clearly stated that he could not be a part of any organization that turns a blind eye to the ground realities.

According to sources, Manish Kashyap may contest the 2025 assembly elections from the Chanpatia seat of West Champaran district on a Jan Suraj ticket. A large number of supporters had reached Patna from Bettiah and Motihari to participate in this program. This also clarifies that Manish's grip is b at the grassroots level.
