National Award-winning Metal Artist Manmohan Soni will represent India at the INDEX exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from September 9-11. He will showcase Indian art on an international platform through his brass handicrafts.

Mahoba: Manmohan Soni, a resident of Mahoba in Uttar Pradesh and a National Award-winning metal artist, is now set to present his remarkable handicraft art on an international stage. He will participate as part of the Indian delegation at the three-day INDEX exhibition, scheduled to be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, from September 9 to 11. At this exhibition, Manmohan will mesmerize audiences with his beautiful and captivating brass artworks.

Manmohan Soni is a renowned handicraft artist from the town of Kulpahar. His masterpiece, "Kamalam," was presented as a memento to world leaders at the G20 Summit held in New Delhi last year. Following this achievement, the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, has provided him the opportunity to participate in the prestigious INDEX exhibition in Riyadh.

Showcasing Indian Art on an International Platform

Manmohan Soni will depart for Riyadh from New Delhi on September 7. He is part of a five-member Indian delegation selected from across the country. On this occasion, he stated, "I am proud to have been given the opportunity to showcase my art on an international platform. I am preparing special artworks for this exhibition along with my family."

This exhibition will be held at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Centre. Manmohan Soni will not only demonstrate his artworks live but will also present his products to the international market. This is a golden opportunity for him to gain global recognition for his art.

National and International Accolades

Manmohan Soni has received several prestigious awards for his outstanding contributions to art. These include:

  • 1998: State Handicrafts Award

In addition, he has showcased his art at international and national platforms such as the Moscow Consume Expo 2012, Commonwealth Games Pune 2008, New Delhi 2010, Delhi Pragati Maidan, and Surajkund Mela 2012. His artworks have been highly appreciated in Russia and other countries.
