In this note, she remembered her father and wrote that her dad taught her to stand b in every situation.
She further wrote, "He raised me to keep going- with grace in grief and strength in purpose. Reposting because it’s my job has nothing to do with me moving on."

Mannara Chopra's cousin and international star Priyanka Chopra also expressed her condolences through an Instagram story on the passing of her uncle. It is noteworthy that Mannara's father, Raman Ray Handa, passed away on June 16, 2025. He was 72 years old. Mannara herself shared the information about her father's demise through an Instagram story.
She wrote, "With great sadness and sorrow, we inform you of the passing of our beloved father, who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family." Mannara made it clear in her note that being active on social media or sharing posts does not indicate that she has moved on from her grief.
She wrote, "I am returning to work because it is my profession. I learned from my father that even in the most difficult times, one must stand up for their duty and self-respect."
