In this regard, a crucial meeting was held between BJP and LJP (Ram Vilas). According to sources, the approximately fifty-minute meeting primarily focused on seat sharing.

Chirag Paswan Demands Seats

During the meeting, Chirag Paswan demanded seats based on the five Lok Sabha seats won by LJP (Ram Vilas) in the 2024 general elections and the party's performance in the 2020 assembly elections. He also proposed that at least two assembly seats should come under the party's quota for every won Lok Sabha seat. Additionally, demands were made for seats for prominent leaders. This demand indicates that LJP (Ram Vilas) aims to strengthen its political position within the NDA.
