NHAI has opened applications for the Winter and Term Internship Program 2026-27. Eligible students can apply online until October 20, 2026, and selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹20,000.
Applications are open for students pursuing courses in engineering, technology, finance, law, media and other fields. Candidates can submit their applications through the NHAI Internship Portal until October 20, 2026.
There will be no written examination or interview for selection. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications, and selected applicants will be informed through email or SMS. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹20,000 per month during the internship.
Students pursuing relevant courses at recognised universities can apply. Eligibility includes BE/BTech in Civil, Electrical, Computer Science, ECE, Mechanical and Environmental Engineering, along with ME/MTech, MBA in Finance, HR and Operations, Data Science, AI, BA LLB and Mass Communication.
Candidates must have secured at least 60 percent marks in their degree course. Students whose degree has already been completed are not eligible to apply for the internship.
Interested candidates can register through the NHAI internship portal and create their profile. They must then apply for the relevant internship program. After submission of the application, candidates will receive information related to the selection process through email or SMS.
