Owaisi Urges Decisive Action Against Pakistan, Including PoK, After Pahalgam Attack

Pahalgam Attack: Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, calls for b action against Pakistan have intensified across India. The attack has highlighted the urgent need for the government to take decisive steps against terrorism.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi criticized the central government and advocated for decisive action against Pakistan.

Owaisi's Statement

Owaisi stated, "The BJP says 'we will strike at the heart of the enemy,' so if action is being taken against Pakistan, then it should be a decisive strike within their territory." He also referred to a proposal presented in Parliament advocating for b action against terrorism, considering PoK (Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir) as an integral part of India.

Owaisi argued that if the government genuinely considers PoK as part of India, it should prove this not just on paper but also on the ground. He emphasized that this action must be decisive and impactful to send a b message to Pakistan.

Prime Minister Modi Grants Open Mandate to the Army

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has granted the army a free hand to act against terrorists as they deem fit. Reports suggest that the Pakistani army has vacated several posts along the international border and lowered its flags. This move signifies a significant strategic shift on Pakistan's part.

Owaisi reiterated, "We have heard the proposal in Parliament stating that PoK is part of India; therefore, the government must demonstrate this on the ground. If action is being taken against Pakistan, it must be decisive and impactful."
