Support for 'INDIA alliance' in the Vice Presidential Election
While interacting with the media on Monday, Pappu Yadav said, "All parties have their rights in the Vice Presidential election, but I believe this is a time to do better. B. Sudarshan Reddy is an intelligent and former judge. I believe he will dispense justice in everyone's interest, rising above party affiliations. If the constitution and democratic values are to be protected, all parties should support the 'INDIA alliance' candidate."
He further added that the election is not just for political gain but to strengthen the country's democratic system. According to him, national interest should be paramount at such times.
Hope for Change in Bihar
Regarding the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, Pappu Yadav clearly stated that a wave of change is sweeping through Bihar. He said, "Congress leadership and Rahul Gandhi have instilled faith and hope in society. The people of Bihar want change now. Bihar will become a state that guides the nation. This time, a government that is working against the youth, the poor, and the public will be removed in Bihar."
He also mentioned that decisions regarding seat-sharing in Bihar should be left to the party leadership. All parties are contesting unitedly, and Congress will move forward based on its ideology and issues. Appreciating Rahul Gandhi's role, Pappu Yadav said, "For Congress, ideology and issues are always most important. Seats do not matter. Rahul Gandhi's aim is to strengthen the 'INDIA alliance'. Under his leadership, the country will remain safe, and the struggle he has undertaken is inspirational."
He further stated that all parties in the Grand Alliance are working equally. In Bihar, Congress is not playing the role of a big or small brother but is participating as an equal partner. The inclusion of leaders like Hemant Soren will strengthen the alliance and increase voter confidence.
