Operation Sindoor: Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the statements made by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar during a special discussion on 'Operation Sindoor' in the Lok Sabha. He described it as a symbol of the strength of India's security apparatus and the success of India's strategy against terrorism.

Rajnath Singh Warns Pakistan

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, initiating the discussion in the Lok Sabha, described 'Operation Sindoor' as an unparalleled example of coordination between the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy. He clarified that it is completely wrong and baseless to say that this operation was stopped due to any international pressure.

Rajnath Singh, in b words, warned Pakistan that if any confusion still remains in Pakistan, India will not delay in removing it. He said that if the neighboring country commits any misadventure, the response will be equally harsh and decisive.

PM Modi Said - Excellent Presentation of Security Apparatus

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, posting on 'X' (formerly Twitter), said that Rajnath Singh's speech gives a deep and accurate account of the success of the Indian security apparatus and the courage of the armed forces. He also added that 'Operation Sindoor' is an example of India's strategic efficiency and decisive leadership.

Jaishankar Called Opposition's Allegations Baseless

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, refuting the opposition's allegations during the debate in the Lok Sabha, said that no issue related to trade with the United States was discussed during 'Operation Sindoor'. He also clarified that there was no communication between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump from April 22 to June 17.

Jaishankar said that India not only took decisive action against terrorism in this operation but also made it clear to the world that India will not show any leniency on the issue of terrorism.

Background of Opposition's Allegations

Opposition parties had raised questions on the government regarding this operation. They alleged that this operation was left incomplete under pressure from the United States and its purpose was to gain political advantage. However, the government rejected all the allegations and shared information about the entire campaign in Parliament with transparency.

Success of Operation Mahadev Also Discussed

During the same period, in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, three terrorists were killed in an anti-terrorism operation named 'Operation Mahadev' near Harwan area, close to Dachigam National Park. According to sources, Suleiman Shah, the mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack, was also among the slain terrorists. The Indian Army's Chinar Corps and Jammu and Kashmir Police carried out this operation in the general area of Lidwas. This operation is part of the ongoing action by Indian security forces against terrorists active in the valley.
