The deceased include Aasha Devi, wife of Sorai Paswan, Sudha Devi (35 years old), wife of Sudhir Paswan, and two girls, aged five and two years. These two girls had come to their maternal grandmother's house. Jyoti Kumari (22 years old), who was seriously injured in the accident, was immediately sent to PMCH.
It is being said that the family was defecating by the side of the road when the uncontrolled Thar vehicle ran over them. Local people say that the driver of the car was allegedly drunk and fled from the spot after the incident.

Jyoti Kumari, who was seriously injured in the accident, is currently undergoing treatment at PMCH. Local people are demanding road safety measures and the installation of speed breakers from the administration so that such accidents can be prevented in the future.
