184 Type-VII Multi-Storeyed Flats
A total of 184 Type-VII flats have been constructed under this project. Each flat is approximately 5,000 square feet in size, providing ample space not only for living but also for the work-related needs of the MPs. Special attention has been paid to the functionality, security, and comfort of the MPs in the design. The project has been developed with the aim of making it self-reliant and environment-friendly.
It adheres to the GRIHA 3-star rating standards and is compliant with the National Building Code (NBC) 2016. Green technology has been used in the construction, which will save energy, enable the production of renewable energy, and ensure scientific management of waste.
Modern Construction Technology and Security
Advanced and sustainable technology has been used in the construction of these multi-storeyed buildings. The structure is earthquake-resistant and ensures long-term durability. A robust security system has been installed in the complex, which includes state-of-the-art surveillance and access control facilities. The complex is fully accessible to persons with disabilities. Need for the Project
This project was initiated when a need for quality housing for Members of Parliament was felt. The old buildings were struggling with limited space and maintenance problems. To make better use of the land, the new buildings have been built taller, making more flats available and also reducing maintenance costs.
The development of modern and environment-friendly housing facilities for public representatives is considered an important step in many democratic countries of the world. This project of India will not only fulfill the needs of the MPs but will also set an example of sustainable urban development.
