In this letter, she has clearly stated that if she is murdered, the Samajwadi Party and Akhilesh Yadav himself will be responsible. This letter is becoming a major issue in the state's politics.
Expressing Fear of Murder in the Letter
Pooja Pal wrote in her letter that she has achieved the biggest goal of her life. The culprits in her husband's murder have been punished. She said that even if she is murdered now, she will have no regrets, but the responsibility for it will lie with the SP and Akhilesh Yadav.
Serious Allegations Against Akhilesh Yadav
In the final part of the letter, Pooja Pal alleged that Akhilesh Yadav insulted and abandoned her midway. Due to this, the morale of the SP's criminal supporters has increased. She said that just like her husband was murdered, she too could be murdered.
Pooja Pal's Political Journey
Pooja Pal's name first came into the limelight when her husband Raju Pal was murdered in 2005. Raju Pal was a BSP MLA, and his murder shook the politics of Allahabad. After this, Pooja Pal raised her voice against her husband's murderers and entered politics.
She contested the by-election in 2005 but lost. In 2007 and 2012, she was elected as an MLA from Allahabad City (West) on a BSP ticket. She faced defeat in 2017, but in 2022, she won the Chail Assembly seat on a Samajwadi Party ticket.
After Raju Pal's murder, Pooja Pal had filed an FIR against Atiq Ahmed and his henchmen. Since then, she has been called 'the leader who confronts the Atiq gang'. This matter remained a topic of discussion in UP politics for a long time.
