North Eastern Railway: Pooja Special Trains from Saharsa & Gorakhpur to Delhi (Anand Vihar) Commence November 7

Pooja Special trains are continuously being operated from Gorakhpur to Delhi and other cities. From November 7th, for three days, a special train service will be available from Saharsa to Delhi (Anand Vihar) via Gorakhpur.

Pooja Special Train: Keeping passenger convenience in mind, North Eastern Railway will operate Pooja Special trains for three consecutive days from Gorakhpur to Delhi (Anand Vihar Terminal). These special trains will run via Saharsa from November 7th to 9th. The railway has released the full schedule for these trains, which passengers can check on the official railway website to plan their journey.

Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, stated that this service has been launched keeping in mind the increasing number of passengers and the need for comfortable travel.

According to North Eastern Railway, a total of three major Pooja Special trains will be operated from Gorakhpur and Saharsa to Delhi:

  • Anand Vihar Terminal Arrival: November 8, 10:15 AM
  • 05513/05514 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal-Saharsa Special
  • Saharsa Departure: November 8, 08:05 AM
  • Main Stoppages: Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Gonda, Badshahnagar, Kanpur Central, Ghaziabad
  • Anand Vihar Terminal Arrival: November 9, 10:15 AM

Saharsa Departure: November 9, 08:05 AM

  • Main Stoppages: Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Gonda, Badshahnagar, Kanpur Central, Ghaziabad
  • Anand Vihar Terminal Arrival: November 10, 10:15 AM
  • These trains will be equipped with 7 coaches of General Second Class and 11 coaches of Sleeper Class, totaling 20 coaches.

Pooja Special Trains in North Eastern Railway's Extensive Network

On November 6th, 15 Pooja Special trains will be operated from various stations of North Eastern Railway, including Gorakhpur. Overall, 233 Pooja Special trains are being run in 2,949 trips from various stations of North Eastern Railway to metropolitan and major cities across the country. Of these:

  • 147 trains for major cities in 1,585 trips
  • 86 trains for other major routes in 1,364 trips

The railway stated that sufficient seats and berths are still available on these 20 major Pooja Special trains. Passengers are advised to travel with confirmed tickets to ensure a pleasant and comfortable journey.
