Prabhas Donates ₹50 Lakh for Telugu Actor Fish Venkat's Kidney Transplant

Superstar Prabhas has pledged ₹50 lakh to help Telugu actor Fish Venkat with his kidney transplant. Venkat is seriously ill and admitted to the ICU. Prabhas's generosity proves that he is a hero not just on screen, but in real life as well.

Prabhas: A name that resonates not only at the box office but is also recognized for his heartwarming acts. This superstar, who has acted in blockbuster films from 'Baahubali' to 'Salaar', has recently proved once again that he is a real-life hero, not just a reel one. What he has done this time is not a scene from a big movie, but a genuine act of humanity. Fish Venkat, a famous comedian in the Telugu film industry, is seriously ill. His kidneys have completely failed and he urgently needs a transplant. It is at this difficult time that Prabhas has come forward as a savior for him.

Who is Fish Venkat?

While the name Fish Venkat may be new to audiences in the Hindi belt, he has been a respected comedian in the South Indian industry. He has made audiences laugh with his performances in superhit Telugu films like 'Gabbar Singh', 'Bunny', 'Adhurs', and 'Dhee'. His real name is Venkatesh, but due to his distinctive way of speaking in the Telangana dialect, people started calling him 'Fisherman', and that's where his name 'Fish Venkat' came from. He has contributed to the industry for more than two decades.

Venkat is ill, admitted to ICU

These days, Fish Venkat is fighting for his life. He is admitted to the ICU and is on dialysis due to kidney failure. His condition is quite critical, and doctors have advised him to undergo a kidney transplant immediately.

In such a situation, when the family needed financial assistance the most, Prabhas extended a helping hand.

Prabhas's pledge of ₹50 lakh

Fish Venkat's daughter, Sravanthi, said in an interview that Prabhas's team contacted her to inform her that the superstar has offered approximately ₹50 lakh for the kidney transplant. "Prabhas's assistant contacted us and assured help. The amount will be transferred as soon as the transplant process begins."

Sravanthi also said that when the family sought help from other big names in the industry, they did not receive any response, but Prabhas offered help without any fanfare.

Kidney donor not yet found

Arrangements for money have been made, but the biggest challenge is finding a kidney donor. No one in Venkat's family has a blood group that matches his. Because of this, the transplant process is not moving forward. Fish Venkat's daughter has also appealed to Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, and other South superstars for help in finding a suitable donor.

Grievances from the industry: 'Worked for two decades, no one is with me'

Sravanthi's statement also touches the heart that her father served in the industry for more than 20 years, but when trouble came, no one supported him. "He has worked with all the top stars. But today, when he needs help, no one is with him. Only Prabhas has ignited a ray of hope."

Prabhas: A true superstar, a hero behind the scenes as well

This is not the first time Prabhas has extended such help. Even before this, he has donated a large part of his film earnings to charity and those in need. He is one of those artists who speak less but do great deeds. His generosity has once again won the hearts of people. Fans and social media users are praising Prabhas and calling him a 'real hero, not just a reel one'.
