Bihar's political landscape is set to heat up once again today. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition, will conduct a roadshow in Warisliganj on Tuesday as part of the Voter Adhikar Yatra (Voter Rights Campaign).
Patna: Under the Voter Adhikar Yatra, a roadshow featuring Congress national leader Rahul Gandhi, Bihar's Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, and leaders from various parties within the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) will be organized in Warisliganj, Bihar, on Tuesday. Preparations for the event have been completed. Leaders from the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress have also departed for Bihar with a large convoy to mark the occasion.
The convoy, consisting of dozens of vehicles, includes the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, former president Rajesh Thakur, minister Deepika Pandey Singh, at least half a dozen legislators, and several working presidents, along with numerous party workers. All the leaders and workers will participate in Rahul Gandhi's rally and the Vote Adhikar Yatra in Nawada.
Campaign to Begin from Nawada
Congress District President Satish Kumar alias Mantan Singh informed that the leaders will arrive from Nawada and receive a grand welcome at Kharanth Mod. Following this, Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav will proceed towards Warisliganj for the roadshow. He mentioned that a large number of Congress and RJD workers will gather during the roadshow and welcome the senior leaders of the Grand Alliance.
Several leaders and legislators from the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress have also arrived in Nawada to participate in the program. Jharkhand Pradesh Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, former president Rajesh Thakur, minister Deepika Pandey Singh, several working presidents, and more than half a dozen legislators departed for Bihar in a convoy. These leaders stated that "the Voter Rights Campaign is not just a political program but a movement to strengthen democracy."
Workers Assigned Responsibilities in Preparation Meeting
To ensure the program's success, a preparatory meeting was held on Monday at the Patel Nagar Community Hall. The meeting was led by RJD Block President Muneshwar Kushwaha, while former legislators Pradeep Mahato and Ashok Mahato oversaw the arrangements. It was decided in the meeting that workers would remain active from the welcome ceremony until the conclusion of the program. Different responsibilities were assigned to the workers to make the roadshow a grand success.
On this occasion, Anita Devi from the Munger parliamentary constituency, Arvind Kushwaha, Mishri Yadav, Pappu Choudhary, Rajesh Kumar, Mukhiya representative Ajit Yadav, and Ashok Paswan, along with several other workers, were present.
Major Show of Strength by the Grand Alliance
This roadshow by Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav is being seen not only as an election campaign but also as a message of unity from the Grand Alliance. Political analysts say that this program is an attempt to showcase the strategy and strength of the Grand Alliance in the upcoming elections. The Congress District President said that "this campaign is an initiative to make the people of Bihar aware of their right to vote and democratic rights.
