Preparations for the flag-hoisting ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya are in their final stages. The main event of the four-day festival, which begins on November 21, is scheduled for November 25, when grand flags will be hoisted on the temple's eight spires.
Ram Mandir Dhwajarohan: Ayodhya is fully engaged in the preparations for the flag-hoisting ceremony at Ram Janmabhoomi. The city is being decorated and embellished in line with the grand ceremony, to ensure a magnificent welcome for guests arriving from across the country and the world. Approximately 10,000 guests, saints-priests, and other VIPs are expected to attend this historic occasion.
To arrange for their accommodation, hotels, lodges, dharmashalas, guesthouses, and homestays in Ayodhya are being booked. So far, approximately 3,000 rooms have been booked by the Shri Ram Mandir Trust.
Preparations for the Flag-Hoisting Ceremony
The temple construction work is almost complete. The construction of the main ground floor and the first floor has concluded, while the work on the second floor is 98 percent complete and is now receiving the finishing touches. Beautiful sculptures and carvings on the pillars have further enhanced the temple's grandeur. A special space has been left for greenery in the parikrama (circumambulation) gallery, allowing devotees to experience natural beauty as well.
The Temple Trust has accelerated preparations in coordination with all departments to make the flag-hoisting ceremony unforgettable. The work of flag manufacturing has begun. Trials are underway with various types of fabrics to ensure the flag's weight, strength, and quality. Additionally, the designs of the symbols to be inscribed on the flags are being finalized.

Dr. Anil Mishra, Trustee of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, informed that on November 25, flags will be hoisted on the main spire of Ramlalla's sanctum sanctorum, as well as on the spires of the six deity temples located within the parikrama wall and the Sheshavatar temple.
Prime Minister Modi and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat to Attend
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat are likely to attend the flag-hoisting ceremony. VIP guests will receive a grand welcome at the ceremony, and preparations are underway to make the entire event magnificent from both a cultural and religious perspective. Devotees from across the country and the world are expected to visit Ayodhya for this historic occasion. So far, approximately 3,000 rooms have been booked by the Temple Trust. Full accommodation arrangements have been made for devotees in Ayodhya's hotels, lodges, dharmashalas, guesthouses, and homestays.
The process for obtaining darshan (viewing) passes has been simplified. Devotees can now acquire darshan passes through both online and offline modes. Upon approval, the PDF of the pass will be sent directly to the devotee, thereby avoiding crowding at the Trust office.
