Rolls-Royce and Bharat Forge Partner to Manufacture Pearl Engine Fan Blades in India

SJVN Limited has placed an order worth Rs 696.50 crore with KPI Green Energy, covering the entire project lifecycle. Meanwhile, Rolls-Royce has signed an agreement with Bharat Forge for the manufacturing and supply of fan blades for Pearl 700 and Pearl 10X engines, which will strengthen aerospace manufacturing capabilities in India.

Rolls Royce-Bharat Forge Partnership: SJVN Limited placed an order worth Rs 696.50 crore with KPI Green Energy, covering equipment supply, construction, and long-term O&M for the entire project. Meanwhile, aerospace company Rolls-Royce signed an agreement with Bharat Forge for the manufacturing and supply of fan blades for Pearl 700 and Pearl 10X engines. This agreement aims to enhance manufacturing capabilities in India and strengthen the global supply chain.

Bharat Forge and Rolls Royce Partnership in Aerospace Sector

Meanwhile, significant news has also emerged from the aerospace sector. Rolls Royce has entered into an important agreement with Bharat Forge Limited. Under this agreement, the manufacturing and supply of fan blades for Pearl 700 and Pearl 10X engines will take place in India. These fan blades will be used in business jets such as the Bombardier Global 5500/6500, Gulfstream G700/G800, and Dassault Falcon 10X.

This agreement also reflects Rolls Royce's commitment to doubling its supply chain in India by 2030. Furthermore, it highlights the company's confidence in India's manufacturing capabilities.

Deal Signing in Berlin

The signing of this agreement was completed at Rolls Royce's Dahlewitz facility in Berlin. This deal will strengthen cooperation not only between the two companies but also between India and other countries. Additionally, Bharat Forge's position as a robust aerospace component supplier will be further solidified.

First Partnership and Now a New Contract

Rolls Royce and Bharat Forge first began working together in 2020, during which parts for the Pearl 700 were sourced. In 2024, the first zero-defect fan blades were supplied. The newly signed contract now also includes the Pearl 10X engine.
