RRB Group D 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is soon to release the exam schedule for the Group D Recruitment Exam 2025. Through this recruitment, a total of 32,438 vacancies will be filled. Candidates are advised to accelerate their preparation from now to perform better in the exam and achieve success.
Application Process and Eligibility
The application process for RRB Group D recruitment was completed from January 23 to March 1, 2025. Candidates who applied for this recruitment should now focus on their preparation. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualifications and age limit. All details are available on the official website rrbcdg.gov.in.
Exam Date and Admit Card
The exam date for RRB Group D 2025 will be announced soon.
City Slip: Will be released 10 days before the exam. This is to inform candidates about the exam city.
Admit Card: Will be available 4 days before the exam. Candidates must bring the admit card and a photo ID card to the examination center.
Note that the City Slip cannot be used as an admit card.
Exam Pattern
The RRB Group D exam will be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam will consist of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions.
- +1 mark for each correct answer
- -1/3 mark for each incorrect answer
- No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions
- Total time: 90 minutes
- Subject-wise number of questions:
- Mathematics: 30 questions
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 questions
- General Science: 25 questions
- General Awareness: 15 questions
This exam tests the reasoning ability, mathematical skills, and general knowledge of the candidates.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who pass the written exam will have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
For Male Candidates:
- Weight Lifting: 35 kg
- 100-meter race: Must be completed in 2 minutes
- 1000-meter running: Must be completed in 4 minutes 15 seconds
For Female Candidates:
- Weight Lifting: 20 kg
- 100-meter race: Must be completed in 2 minutes
- 1000-meter running: Must be completed in 5 minutes 40 seconds
Candidates will get only one chance in the PET.
Preparation Tips
- Solve previous years' question papers and understand the exam pattern.
- Manage time to solve 100 questions in 90 minutes.
- Practice regular running and weight lifting for the Physical Efficiency Test.
- Check your preparation with online mock tests.
- Read the newspaper daily for General Awareness and Current Affairs.

Selection Process
