Russian President Putin's talks with global leaders
Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian Presidential Office, stated that President Vladimir Putin has been continuously engaging in talks with world leaders in recent days. He has spoken with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian, and US President Donald Trump. Peskov said that Russia is fully prepared to mediate to resolve the current crisis.
Peskov also clarified that Russia is closely monitoring the situation and bly condemns any provocative activities in the region. He stated that Russia is prepared to take necessary steps to restore peace and stability in the Middle East.
China also plays a responsible role
Not only Russia, but China has also taken a proactive stance on this issue. Guo Jiakun, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi recently held talks with the Israeli Foreign Minister. During the talks, Wang Yi appealed for both countries to return to the path of peace and dialogue and resolve the conflict through negotiations.
Guo Jiakun said that China has always sought a peaceful resolution of Iran's nuclear issue and regional disputes through political and diplomatic means. China will maintain communication and coordination with relevant parties and is prepared to play a larger role in peacemaking if necessary.
