Sachin Pilot Accuses Election Commission of Vote Rigging and Lack of Transparency in Bihar

Sachin Pilot accused the Election Commission of vote rigging and lack of transparency during the 'Voter Rights Yatra' in Bihar. He criticized the commission for not responding to issues raised by Rahul Gandhi.

Patna: Political temperatures have risen ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections. Congress leader Sachin Pilot, during the 'Voter Rights Yatra' organized by the opposition alliance, accused the Election Commission of vote rigging and not maintaining transparency. Pilot reached Bettiah, Bihar, to participate in this yatra and stated in a conversation with the media that the commission is not responding to the questions raised by Rahul Gandhi.

Sachin Pilot clarified that the Congress's priority is to conduct transparent and impartial elections. He said, "The massive public turnout in the Voter Rights Yatra shows that people in Bihar want change and are taking to the streets to prevent vote rigging."

Sachin Pilot Raises Serious Questions Against the Election Commission

Sachin Pilot raised several important questions against the Election Commission. He said, "The process of selecting the Election Commissioner, the rule of destroying CCTV footage, and not making the voter list public indicates that something is amiss. Rahul Gandhi has made allegations in Karnataka with evidence, but the Election Commission has no answer for it."

He warned that if the Election Commission does not answer these questions in time, the people of Bihar may become even more active in demanding change. He stated that the people's vote is paramount in a democracy, and any kind of malpractice is a threat to democracy.

Threat to the Public's Voting Rights

Sachin Pilot said that the votes of millions of people are being cut in Bihar. He alleged that the Election Commission wants to disenfranchise the public through a review process. Furthermore, arbitrarily adding and removing names from the voter list is against the fundamental principles of democracy.

He further explained that the public understands this, and the massive public gathering in the Voter Rights Yatra clearly shows that people are ready to protect their rights. He said that even in this scorching heat, people are coming out onto the streets for their voting rights, which reflects their awareness towards democracy.

Sachin Pilot Seeks Public Support

Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav are also participating in this yatra. Sachin Pilot stated that the INDIA alliance has b prospects of forming the government. He said that the public now wants change, and the Voter Rights Yatra is an important step in the direction of this change.

He appealed to the public to support the Voter Rights Yatra and remain active in protecting democratic rights. He emphasized that the Congress is committed to ensuring fair and transparent elections at every level.
