Sachin Pilot Slams Rajasthan BJP Government, Calls it a 'Smoke-Emitting Machine'

Rajasthan's political landscape is once again heating up. This time, senior Congress leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has launched a scathing attack on the ruling BJP government.

Tonk: In Rajasthan, senior Congress leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has again launched a b attack on the ruling BJP government. During his visit to Tonk district, Pilot targeted both the central and state governments, stating, "This is not a double-engine government, but a smoke-emitting machine. No work, only show." This statement has intensified the political atmosphere, and Pilot is attempting to project a b image of his party among the public.

Sharp Criticism of the Government

Pilot stated that the state's BJP government is only engaged in publicity, with no substantial work happening on the ground. He said, "This government is only spewing smoke; nothing is visible on the ground in the name of work. There is no accountability for election promises." He sarcastically remarked that this government is not a "double-engine" but a "double-mask," one in Delhi and one in Rajasthan, both misleading the public.

State Government Focused on Pleasing Delhi

Questioning the state government's functioning, Pilot said, "The Rajasthan government is busy pleasing Delhi's leaders. The problems of the common people are not a priority for the government. The government machinery is being used only to save power and maintain internal equations within the organization." He alleged that the state government has shut down or stalled several public welfare schemes of the previous Congress government, directly harming the rural and poor population.

Discontent over Unbridled Bureaucracy

Sachin Pilot also raised serious questions about the state's bureaucracy. He said that the current situation is such that officers are acting arbitrarily. Neither ministers nor elected representatives are being heard. The bureaucracy has become unbridled, and no solutions are being found for the people's problems. Pilot warned that if the government does not make the administration accountable, it may have to face serious consequences in the future.

Targeting the Central Government on Pakistan and China

Pilot also questioned the central government's strategy regarding cross-border firing and Pakistan's activities. He said, "They talk about ceasefire, and shelling starts a few hours later. How long will this double standard be tolerated?" He described Pakistan as a haven for terrorists and stated that countries like China and Turkey are now supporting it, which is a matter of concern. He emphasized the need for vigilance not only at the borders but also from a strategic perspective.

Strong Reaction to India-Pakistan Comparison

On the comparison between India and Pakistan, Pilot unequivocally stated that India's economy, military strength, and global standing are eleven times greater than Pakistan's. Yet, repeatedly comparing ourselves to that country reflects a weakness in our strategy. We need to show clarity and confidence in our policies. During his tour, Sachin Pilot visited 10 villages in the Tonk Assembly constituency. There, he directly interacted with villagers and listened to their problems. Issues like power cuts, drinking water shortages, road repairs, and lack of education and healthcare services emerged.

Pilot instructed the officials present to take immediate action on these issues and assured the public that he would continue to raise their voices. He said that in the next elections, the people will understand the truth and give Congress another chance.
